Joe Petrosky is the Vice Chancellor for Economic & Workforce Development at Oakland Community College. His responsibility and team include Workforce Development, providing customized training solutions for employers and short-term ‘cohort’ training programs with programs spanning manufacturing, robotics, pre-apprenticeship, healthcare, and information technology. His team also spans Community Education, Government and Community Affairs, Career Services (including Apprenticeship and Internship), and the college Grants Office.
Prior to joining OCC, Joe held leadership positions at Macomb Community College (Warren, MI) and Focus: HOPE (Detroit). He also worked for General Motors (Warren & Flint, MI) and has experience in international consulting in Poland.
Joe has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor.
