Jennifer Llewellyn is the Director of Oakland County Michigan Works! and the Manager of Workforce Development at Oakland County. Known for her innovative and inclusive approach to workforce development, she has over 20 years of experience in workforce development programs, career management and business workforce solutions. She is responsible for the oversight and coordination of over 40 federal, state, and local job training programs totaling $18 million annually.
Llewellyn is the Board Co-Chair of the Workforce Intelligence Network, a member of the Automation Alley Fund Board, and a member of the Pontiac Funders Collaborative and the OU-Pontiac Initiative. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Development from Oakland University, is a Certified Career Development Facilitator and a Certified Business Solutions Professional.
Llewellyn was selected as a Member of Oakland County's Elite 40 Under 40 Class of 2014 and received the 2019 Oakland County Excellence in Economic Development award. In 2020, she received a Martin Luther King Jr. Dreamer Award from the Greater Pontiac Community Coalition and the Michigan Works! Association's Good Guy Award.
