TANYA DANIAL

Tanya Danial serves as a Data & Research Intern for the Workforce Intelligence Network of Southeast Michigan (WIN), where she supports economic and workforce research initiatives alongside the WIN Economic Research Managers. Her work includes assisting with labor market reports, data analysis, and research projects that help inform workforce development strategies across Southeast Michigan.

Through her internship, Tanya applies statistical methods to workforce and economic data, contributing to research efforts that support employers, policymakers, and community stakeholders. She is developing expertise in labor market analysis, data visualization, and evidence-based decision-making.

Outside of WIN, Tanya serves as a Research Assistant with the University of Michigan's Department of Biostatistics, supporting academic research and data-driven projects. She also serves as a Student Ambassador for the Mathematics and Statistics Department at the University of Michigan-Dearborn and as Treasurer of the university's Data Science Association, helping foster student engagement and professional development opportunities in data science and analytics.

Previously, Tanya worked as a Supplemental Instruction Leader for statistics courses at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, providing peer-led academic support and helping students strengthen their quantitative reasoning and analytical skills. She also served as Program Staff for GirlsGetMath, a summer mathematics enrichment program at the University of Michigan-Dearborn that introduced students to applied mathematics through hands-on learning and collaborative problem-solving.

Tanya is currently a senior at the University of Michigan-Dearborn pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Applied Statistics with minors in Women's and Gender Studies and Psychology.
