Through its Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Cybersecurity and stackable certificates, LCC equips students with the skills to safeguard digital infrastructure across industries. Housed within the Computer Technology and Networking Career Community, the program emphasizes hands-on learning in threat analysis, incident response, and network defense, ensuring graduates are ready to step into the workforce with confidence.
Nationally Recognized Excellence
LCC’s cybersecurity program is more than a strong local option, it’s nationally recognized. The college is a designated National Center of Academic Excellence (CAE) in Cyber Defense Education, a distinction awarded by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
Additionally, its Computer Networking Technology degree is a validated CAE Program of Study, meaning students graduate with training that meets rigorous national workforce and security standards.
