
Jessica Knapik serves as a program coordinator with Economic & Workforce Development at Oakland Community College. Her role includes coordinating two short-
term training programs, communicating with clients and managing their training needs, providing administrative support, collaborating with community and employer partners, and helping with marketing projects related to the department.
Her higher education experience spans over 20 years and in a variety of capacities related to project management, report building, analyzing data, marketing, and event planning. One of her proudest achievements was launching and managing a successful community outreach program with a Detroit elementary school. She is passionate about helping students achieve success and changing their lives for the better. She was previously recognized as dBusiness’ “30 in their Thirties” and featured as Oakland County Executive’s “Elite 40 under 40.”
Jessica has a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Oakland University and a master’s degree in management with a specialization in marketing from Walsh College. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, exploring national parks, hiking and photography.
