
Passionate about helping others, Jennifer Tucker joined SEMCA’s Workforce Development team in 2019. Jennifer has extensive experience with 25 years of communityrelations, marketing communications, program and project management, strategic planning, grant funding and business development. In her current role as Workforce Business Liaison, she directs Talent Development at 7 local American Job Centers. She serves as a subject matter expert on registered apprenticeships and conducts employer educational events, virtual job fairs, and community outreach.
Jennifer enhances relationships with local communities and centers of influence as an Ambassador for the Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber of Commerce. She builds partnerships with local non-profits and regional economic development organizations to advance SEMCA’s priorities. She has served on Boards for the Education Foundation, Adult Continuing Education, Volunteerism Council, Healthcare Alliance Collaborative, Learning Bank Network and has logged thousands of hours of community service in her career. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing & Design from Eastern Michigan University, where she serves on the Board of Directors for the EMU Alumni Association. She holds certifications in both project management and marketing communications and is a certified Business Solutions Professional, through the MSU Extension office and Michigan Works! Association.
Prior to this role, she spent nearly 17 years directing award-winning financial education programs and marketing outreach for a community bank.
Jennifer is the CEO/President of Team Tucker Wellness LLC, a Health Coaching business that begin in 2021. In her free time, she enjoys spending time in nature and traveling with her husband, William.
