The Workforce Intelligence Network (WIN) is proud to recognize a growing network of WIN Board Member organizations recently recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL) Office of Apprenticeship as Registered Apprenticeship Intermediary Group Sponsors.
These partner organizations have been instrumental in expanding access to Registered Apprenticeship opportunities across Southeast Michigan. The WIN Advance Michigan Center for Apprenticeship Innovation (AMCAI) learning hub, supported in part by the U.S. Department of Labor Apprenticeship Building America (ABA) initiative, focuses on helping regional stakeholder partners strengthen apprenticeship pathways by connecting local employers with a skilled and diverse talent pipeline.
“The WIN Board has demonstrated a long-term commitment to helping employers and job seekers connect through high-quality apprenticeship opportunities,” said Michele Economou Ureste, WIN Executive Director. “The Registered Apprenticeship Intermediary recognition reflects the expertise and commitment to apprenticeship that has been made in the region.”
Since 2021, the WIN collaborative has worked closely with state and local organizations to train stakeholder partners through its Intermediary Train-the-Trainer program while providing AMCAI technical assistance. Whether through direct training or shared expertise, each organization has strengthened its capacity to guide employers, register programs, and sustain quality apprenticeships. This collaboration has provided more Michiganders access to meaningful training and career pathways in high-demand industries such as Healthcare, IT/Cybersecurity, Advanced Manufacturing, Construction/Skilled Trades, Green Energy and Mobility, Culinary/Hospitality, Mental Health/Community Health Worker, Early Childhood Education, Direct Support Specialist, and Accounting.
