Michigan Works! Southeast will celebrate the grand opening of their new apprenticeship development service on National Apprenticeship Week, which takes place Nov. 14-18th. “Apprenticeship Works!” will assist businesses in developing an apprenticeship track within their company and connect career seekers to existing apprenticeship opportunities.
“Apprenticeships are a win-win that offer career seekers high earning potential without student loan debt, and employers skilled workers with increased retention,” says Misty Shulters, Depu ty Director of Michigan Works! Southeast.
Additionally, an “Apprenticeship Corner” will be set up at each center where an expert will be available to share information and resources:
